Machines for stators testing

The test inspection of electric motor stators was what the first machine made by Risatti back in 1958 was designed for, and it is still the most important sector of our product range.

All the machines rotate around the SURGE test, which is the most important and the strictest for this type of testing.

Our product range, for testing stators, fulfils all requirements:

  • from the micromotor to those for alternators for electric power plants
  • from compressors to the various models of pumps
  • from the railway sector (e.g. large stator testing) to automotive
  • from the few units of repairers to the very high numbers of mass production.

We have a specific and customized solution for everyone.

The supplies, right from the start, intended for large industrial complexes, such as the household electric appliance sector, required us to focus strongly on reliability, strength, versatility and ease of use.

In addition to the stator, Risatti offers numerous solutions for all electrical components and parts of the engine and electrical machines in general. In fact, solutions are available for: rotors (both wound and squirrel cage), coils, transformers, alternators, etc. All the solutions offer a wide possibility of customization and integration in the production line with automation.

The tests

The equipment, exclusively designed and manufactured by us, embraces the entire electromechanical and electrotechnical sector and the sectors related to preventive maintenance, repairs and rewinding.
Residual voltage test is used to detect the presence of residual voltage in a system, after the main source of power is disconnected.
The AC dielectric strength test is performed by setting an acceptability threshold of the maximum current.
Testing the electrical resistance of a winding is essential and is performed to measure the resistance of a winding.
The SURGE test is the most reliable method to test the insulation of winding systems and can also be used to test partial discharges.
The DC insulation resistance test evaluates the quality of the insulators, the possible presence of humidity and pollution.
